DIDX Box

What is a DIDXBox ?

DIDX box is an Asterisk-based server that comes with Asterisk pre-installed on Centos operating system, on a Dell server machine.

The popular DIDx box is available now with

1 Pri E1/T1
4 pri E1/T1

The DIDx box will allow CLECs to instantly convert all their traffic from TDM to IP (SIP or IAX2) and sell their DID numbers via didx.net exchange services.

The service provider does not have to understand Asterisk, and no programming is required.

Support for DIDxbox will be available via Digium and Sangoma directly, and sales would be provided by Cylogistics.

Answer:
The CLEC will map its DID's from its own soft switch, to the TDM connection connected to the DIDxbox. Therefore, DIDxbox will send all the traffic to didx.net servers.

Question: How do these DID's get sold via the DIDX BOX?
Answer:
The CLEC/ service provider sells its DID numbers via the DIDx network.

Question: Who collects payments of the sales of the DID numbers?
Answer:
DIDX collects payments and gives them to the provider the payment.

The CLEC/ service provider then sells its DID numbers via the DIDx network.

Question: Who keeps the CABS earnings?
Answer:
The CLEC keeps all the CABS earnings unless it wants to pass part of it to the customer of the DID number.
